I was given some wonderful wallpaper once upon a time. I have been finding all sorts of ways to use it. This month I have had the pleasure of participating in LOAD over at the Layout a Day website. Two different days during this event I have had the privilege of pulling out my stash of wallpaper and using them on a scrapbook page.
My actual physical scrapbooking is sporadic at best and concentrated during LOAD at most. One of the things that you will learn about me is that I am very distractable and Love exploring new things all the time. I won’t be having a restrictive focus here on my site. That can get to be too much for some, so I will try to keep it organized. Mostly finding and using things that are practical and reusable with a focus on Thrift will be what you find here.
Now that I went down that rabbit trail, I will show you the two layouts that I used wallpaper on and see if you can find them.
So, if you did not find it. The Beautiful paper under the coffee pot is a fantastic rich creamy color and full of texture. I love touching this layout. On the turtle yoga layout I used a strip of striped wallpaper under the journaling card and picture. Well, it looked like grass to me. Oh, and in the reusing category, I got plenty of comments about the silly little palm tree embellishment. It is a garment tag from…oh, I don’t remember, since I cut it off. But it was a little tag peeking out of my junk bin and I grabbed it.
geezee

Awwww I love both layouts they are just wonderful! I am going to go find me some wall paper
