Tutorial for gift card holder

I have been saving a few toilet paper tubes like this one to make gift card holders like thistutorial pictureone. Taking a leftover Toilet Paper Tube, I flattened it and used this lovely Sizzix Texture Fade to add some snowflakes to it.

image is clickable and they have a good price at Amazon right now.

Options for the next step could be, to paint or ink the raised images. Punch or cut-out windows. I stitched across one end to keep the gift card visible on the other end. For a finishing touch I added sparkle by adhering gems to the middles of the snowflakes. When gifting this cutie I will staple this card holder inside a matchbook style card.

Have fun using something in a new way,
